Damn you, Super Smash Bros. Brawl!!! lol. -- Like my earlier blog about waiting in the cold for a nintendo wii, I did the same thing for super smash bros at midnight. Though, I wasn't waiting in the windy night [because I was in my car] and my brother was (he wanted the game more than I did), I felt very pissy anyway. On friday, my brother went to game crazy and since he's a regualar customer, one of the sales associates volenteered to hold a game for him to assure him that no matter where he was in the customer waiting line, he would get one. You see, my brother wasn't even going to bother to go the midnight launch and just wait a few weeks so they could come back in stock. So my brother was like, "ok cool".
Well, even though they said they would hold him the game, he decided to come early anyway to see the mini tournament they were holding (I waited in the car because I wasn't going to leave a 13 yr old boy at a game store from 9pm- 12am alone). I had this feeling that the sales associate was going to jerk him over so I called him as soon as Game Crazy began to form a line for the game. I asked him if he double checked with the store manager and the sales associate if they were going to still hold the game for him and they played dumb and pretended like they never said anything! I mean, that's just fucked up, right? My boyfriend and I even heard them say it! Why would you say to a little kid that didn't even have intentions to go to this game launch, encourge him to come by saying that they'd hold a gme for him, then the day the launch happens, pretend like you never said anything and blow him off?!
Luckily, My brother weas one of the first 25 people in line for the game, so he got it anyway. It just really pissed me off that they would do something so cruel to little kids like that. Yet, I'm not really suprised at the behavior of grown men who work at a game store for minimum wage and the store is going bankrupt anyway...
My Brother is so super loved and super spoiled. lol It started with me waking to my boyfriend called me to get dressed to go to the store. Note, this was at 6:10 in the morning. I got out of bed and my father stared at me like a crack head. He was like "Juliet, why the hell you up so early?!" lol All I said was "Wii"...

6:45 am and we get to target and there were around 40 people on the line to wait or the store to open. My boyfriend and I were like,--damn. Peeps got no lives. lol, like we should talk. --- So here we are, in the cold for a half hour to get into a store that isn't open until 8:00. I felt like an f-ing fool doing this for my brother. I thinking this was the craziest thing I've done for my little bro yet, Anywho, this manager comes out the store saying that he has limited tickets for people to get the Wii and there was only around 30. I was like, "F*ck!" So here he is, going in order to give away the tickets and Im beating my heart fast as heck just to get a ticket to buy this wii. And as soon as he came to me, he held it to me with both hands. I GOT THE LAST WII!!! WOOT!!!! I was about to faint because I broke my back looking for this stupid thing for three week for my brother. ah... ticket number 38-- that's my new lucky number. And as we speak, my spoiled brother is playing the thing with a Big sticker on the system saying, "Juliet <3's You!!" -sigh- i'm bushed.
Does anyone have any crazy stories to tell me about stuff they wanted to buy, but was in high demand?
